However, that five-second choice paved way for deep-seeded emotional maturity albeit after a long period of transformation. Thus, the change from self-disrespect to self-respect.

Another thing that restrains citizens or consumers from smuggling or hoarding was discipline. It meant doing what one intends to in spite of staking in some resistance. Discipline, to my understanding, means the ability to keep to whatever one has said he or she will do despite the circumstances.
